This March, Hyatt Hotels across Hong Kong are celebrating International Women’s Day with a series of purple-inspired cakes, cocktails, and community initiatives. As part of the #GiveToGain campaign, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong, Hyatt Regency Sha Tin, and Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui are partnering with the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres to support women in the city, with part of the proceeds from selected items donated to the organisation.

Purple, the symbolic colour of International Women’s Day, represents justice and dignity. To mark the occasion, each hotel has created its own limited edition dessert or drink, with a portion of proceeds supporting the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres:

Head to the rooftop Cruise Restaurant & Bar at Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour for The Peak Pour (HKD $138), a purple cocktail inspired by the journey of the Peak Tram climbing toward Victoria Peak. Consisting of butterfly tea tequila, mezcal, salted plum, lime, and pineapple, its vibrant and slightly smoky flavour makes for an incredibly refreshing beverage. A portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres.

Beyond the purple-themed treats, Hyatt Hotels are also marking the occasion through initiatives focused on inclusivity and community engagement. Earlier this month, staff took part in a Gender Sensitivity Training at Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui, led by Jacinta Yu from the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres. The session explored topics such as cultural awareness, family dynamics, and workplace equality, encouraging open conversations around building a more inclusive environment. Later on this month, Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui will also organise a Nature & Nurture hiking and trail clean-up at Lau Shui Heung and Hok Tau Reservoir. The three-hour activity invites staff to connect with nature while contributing to environmental sustainability, reinforcing the group’s commitment to wellness, inclusivity, and social responsibility.

Across the city, Hyatt Hotels are marking International Women’s Day with thoughtful gestures, including purple treats and initiatives that support the wider community. Whether you're stopping by for a drink with harbour views or picking up a cake for someone special, the celebrations offer a chance to indulge while supporting a meaningful cause. It is sp incredibly refreshing to witness efforts like these being championed within the hospitality scene, and Hyatt’s commitment highlights a genuine effort to support women and the community in a meaningful way - something that we acknowledge and appreciate with much regard.
